Center for School Success Community Outreach

Students with learning differences need to be understood
and appreciated for what they CAN do.

At CSS , we believe that students need to know how they learn best; teachers need to know how to address the unique strengths and needs of all their students; and parents need to know how to support their children s learning strengths and challenges. Teachers, parents, and students themselves need to be educated about differences in learning so together they can provide meaningful opportunities for students to become confident and productive members of the community.

CSS offers community awareness workshops with the intent of helping participants appreciate, recognize, and begin to manage learning differences. Through generous support from local organizations and businesses, CSS has been able to provide these workshops at low or no cost. In addition, CSS disseminates newsletters and maintains a website for parents and the general public ( www.centerforschoolsuccess.org ).
